Check out this Disco-Jazz album by Dr, Buzzard's Original Savannah Band. Although this album is early Disco it has that old school 1940-50s feel of swaying with your partner under the stars and moonlight. Speaking about dancing it’s good for your mind, body and soul! So keep doing it!

I still love the opening verse: Let the spirit flow all through your body, Just lend us an ear. Involve yourself, you're free to follow.. And we'll take you there. The Feeling's right and the music’s tight on the Disco Nights.. (Rock, Freak) Oh Yeahhh!

This Keep On Jumpin" album by Musique has three nice 1977-79 dance tunes on it. We remember those cool summer nights dancing around NYC clubs to these tunes. In The Bush and Keep on Jumpin" were upbeat dance tunes and Summer Love was a smooth, sway to the Hustle with your dance partner, under the stars type of tune. Have a good Sat eve all!

By
Yvonne Elliman
Christmas & New Years time is for beautiful songs and loving family and your significant other.. Enjoy this sweet 1977 tune from Yvonne Elliman, If I Can't Have You."
Album/CD for DEC-Jan. 2025
Need I say more? It was Christmas time. The album & movie debuted on 12/12/77 to bring Disco from the underground into the main stream.. Per AI: Along with the success of the movie, the soundtrack, composed and performed primarily by the Bee Gees, is the second best-selling soundtrack album of all time. I just want to add that the other artists & groups were great too!

Spring Rain
by
Bebu Silvetti
May has arrived, bringing springtime showers and fresh new energy. With rain on the forecast all week here in New York, I couldn’t help but remember this hidden gem-a stunning dance track beloved by many but still an underrated classic: “Spring Rain” by Bebu Silvetti...
This beautiful dance track is perfect for the hustle—or a solo groove! So grab your umbrella, take a partner’s hand, and channel your inner Gene Kelly as you dance through the rain.

Here’s an album featuring one of disco’s true divas—France Joli’s Greatest Hits! From timeless classics like Come to Me and Gonna Get Over You to the heartfelt The Heart to Break the Heart, these tracks keep the dance floor alive. Two of these songs even played a role in scenes from my 2010 novel, Disco Nights—a story inspired by the magic of the 1970s disco era. France Joli’s voice is pure energy, and these songs are made to move to. So turn up the volume, hit the dance floor, and keep on dancing!
